Location

The NTAC lodges sit outside of the main Ben Lomond Village area, adjacent to the front ski slopes. Our decks overlook the slopes and are a popular spot to while away the day for non-skiers, or for the alpine enthusiasts to have a rest during the day. There is a formed path from the main boardwalk to the lodge.

You can walk directly out our front door to the edge of the snow play area or main formed ski slopes. Directly above and below the lodge you will find the access to a number of cross country ski trails which are also ideal for snowshoeing.

Parking is available in the carparks just below the main village, from where our lodge is a short walk away (approximately 300m). There is a carpark directly in front of the lodge, however this is only used in summer months and will be closed from the first snowfall of winter.

As the road to the village and Jacobs Ladder are above the snowline and subject to ice and snow, chains must be carried by all vehicles from July to September if you are driving above the snowline.  A shuttle service runs from the bottom carpark at the Parks & Wildlife registration booth to the upper carpark and can be contacted through Snow Sports on (03) 6327 2477.  You do not require chains if you are using the shuttle service.  Up to date information on lift status, mountain conditions and amenities can be found on the Ben Lomond Committee webpage.
